The food here is super ONO! I love the garlic chicken! Other family members enjoyed the bulgogi bowl, fried chicken bowl, and the pork katsu curry bowl! Great place to pick up food for family meals! Portions are generous!
In all my time here, this restaurant has not let me down.
Good rice bowls here😋
Food is amazingly tasty. This place is for cheat days. Big generous portions for a good price. Togo style no place for dining or picnic tables. Small parking area by busy intersections.1/2020 still just as tasty the first time
Lovely fried chicken, best in town
This place is beyond delicious!!!! The chicken is fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. The portions are huge!! We ordered the half spicey chicken. Those are the most delicious fried chicken I've had in a while. It is spicey but it doesn't take away from the yummy flavor of the chicken. It was a shareable size. So glad we came to visit this spot while in the area. Will definitely be back!
Loved the spicy pork and bulgogi bowls
Absolutely one of the best deals around. I always get the fried chicken bowl with extra sauce. Call 5 minutes ahead and it will most likely be ready when you get there!!!
Funny name for yummy Korean fried chicken.
Super late review. I got some kind of a curry bowl which wasn't my first choice, but was the only option at the time of my order. I did stop by close to closing. Wasn't my favorite 😕. Not sure what all the hype is about. Maybe I need to try their chicken or another popular item.
A walk up, street side cafe, which features a nice variety of local style bowls. Plus ono fried chicken, with a Korean flair. I enjoyed a large Loco Moco bowl, which was great!!! I highly recommend Itchy Butt! Side note: I found out the former owner's daughter named the place. ;)
Fast and good local food. I recommend the fried chicken bowl for seven dollars. The bowl includes a drink. There is no sitting, only a window to order and pickup. 10 minute walk from Wall Mart and Ala Moana shopping center.
I got the fried chicken bowl. It's topped with teriyaki sauce and some type of mayo based sauce on a bed of rice and comes with a canned drink. Soooo good! I got full after eating half, so I recommend sharing if you don't have a large appetite.
Great food. Good price
No taste & dry. Pieces of chicken is small.
if you ever feel hungry or nearby this area, this is the best place to be..
Quick fast and friendly service . Tasty food and a clean kitchen makes them a great choice for chicken lovers.
So good. Get the Korean Flavor. Also the garlic was very good. Very reasonable prices too. One of the cheapest places we've been to. 10/10 would recommend Itchy Butt.
If you like chicken this is the place for you. Forget about KFC and Popeye. They don't offer the flavors Itchy Butt does!
The food is so good and the service is fast
Hole in the wall, practically no parking, small window, crazy name, long lines, busy corner. Yes yes yes. It's worth it. Great Korean style chicken. Good price. So delicious! Would be perfect if they sold soju!
Good fried chicken at a good price. Simple.
I always get the fried chicken bowl. Battered boneless chicken with a creamy sauce (taste like mayo/sweet chili) on top of rice. $8.50 for the bowl and a drink. It's a nice sized bowl; it ends up being lunch for 2 days. I've always go at lunch, so I usually have to wait. On a good note, the wait result in bowls that are hot and the chicken seems fresh. Staff is nice, but at lunch, the phones are always busy. I sometimes have to wait to order. Parking is not the best with a small lot that can be hard to enter/exit.
I absolutely loved the chicken here. Trust me I have had a lot of KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) in my lifetime and this place ranks with the best.Ya the place looks sketched and also the area but don't keep driving. You order at a window pay sit in your car and wait. The cheese sticks were good too. The chicken was good the next day as well.
Love their fried chicken but bulgogi and spicy pork not so much.
Great Food... definitely a spot I'll be going to again and again... food had great taste
It's good for its price. Nothing special. I have the chicken bowl. No seatings, just order through a window.
Korean BBQ was the bomb. So much sauce! And the fried cheese was good too. Great comfort food.
Came here because of Mark Wiens, bought the fried chicken bowl that was highly recommend. Got my food and it was cold chicken went back to the counter to be told them if i could get a new bowl or get my money back and was told no and an oh well look! Don’t recommend at all!!
I am from the mainland and come to Hawaii quite often. Last night I ate the Korean Fried Chicken and the Garlic Fried Chicken and they were amazing and absolutely kicked my face in. A couple weeks ago I tried the Bulgogi Bowl and that was quite tasty too. I'm a true fan of Itchy Butt!!!
The most delicious crispy garlic chicken. A truly awesome meal to have under a big shady tree🍗🌳
Hole in the wall, no seating but a MUST place to get Korean fried chicken. They also have a variety of rice bowls.
Hole in the wall. Good food. Great prices. Generous servings. My "go to" for Spicy Pork on a work day
I love this place. The fried chicken rice bowl is usually my go to but I also like the bulgogi. I've had other items on the menu and have no complaints except that during certain times (usually later at night) the food is not as great. Which is pretty understandable considering..
Delicious Korean Fried Chicken and comes with a great value price.
Talk about a hole in the wall establishment. I always order the chicken bowl combo and I'm always satisfied. I'm a decently sized person and for me to say its satisfying that means a lot. The bowl combo comes with a canned drink and prices is very decent for the portion of food. If you haven't check this place out yet make sure to put it on your list.
Parking lot is tough to get out of but the food more than makes up for it. Super ono with good prices.
Pretty good food. Language barrier is different but worth the stop if you dont want the usual Big Mac.
Local secret spot with the grinds! But is also not a secret at all as their name is itchy but chicken, they are on google maps, a poster of a chicken's arse hangs above and the food being amazing draws a crowd. So kinda hard to keep a secret.
Good fried chicken
Ate here on e while in Hawaii and dream of it often the cheese sticks and spicy chicken was amazing! Don't let looks fool you try this place!
Great chicken good sides. No longer serve corn. Pickled radishes and cheese sticks are yum. Miss the corn :-(
You thought fried chicken was good? What if you took off the skin and the outer meat was brown and crispy? Now that is something you can't turn down. BEST CHICKEN IVE EVER HAD.
Fabulous Korean fried chicken.
Great katsu and other chicken dishes. Very busy, sidewalk ordering, they will announce your name and order loudly, but food is hot, tasty, and in good portions. Young Asian women doing everything and they are good at what they do. You could EASILY miss itchy, it is a corner hole in the wall but if you are headed towards Manoa on Keeomuku (I know I spelled that wrong), once you cross over Beretania, look to the right and pull over, cuz you dont want to miss a good lunch under 10 bucks and you can feed 2. That is a bargain in Honolulu.
It’s good, but SO GREASY and the oil tasted rancid. Both my girlfriend and I had gnarly stomach aches because of the quantity and quality of the frier oil. They definitely need to change out their oil more often, and drain the chicken better before serving.
Seriously my favorite fast food on the island. Cheap, large portions, good customer service. Don't let the name put you off. I'm pretty sure thier child picked the name.
Not sure how this place got it's name, but the food is top notch, especially in light of it's relatively low cost!We ordered a pair of spicy pork bowls and were surprised when it turned out that a drink was included in the price ($7.50). Once we'd dug into our bowls, we were further surprised by just how tasty both the pork and rice were.Yes, this is a true hole-in-the-wall, and it is serving up deliciousness. There's relatively little dedicated parking as it's part of a small strip mall with other businesses; however, we didn't have an issue finding a spot within easy walking distance.Service was great, and even the people hanging about waiting on their own food were fun to chat with. Great (not so) hidden gem.
This little hole in the wall is great! They have generous portions and it taste fantastic!!
